Echo Bridge Partners is a privately held real estate investment firm established in 2010 by J. Clancy Casey and Andrew R. DiMatteo. The firm manages fully discretionary capital, with an exclusive focus on opportunistic and value-added real estate investments. Echo Bridge Realty Fund I, L.P. held its final closing in February 2013 with commitments from private investors.
The co-founders collectively have more than 44 years of institutional investment management experience, including 28 years with funds in which the Harvard University endowment was the sole or lead investor. They have been directly involved in the acquisition, development and/or asset management of more than $6 billion of real estate investments during their careers. Echo Bridge Partners leverages the principals' investment expertise spanning multiple property types and markets through several economic cycles.
The founding partners previously worked closely together as real estate investment principals at Charlesbank Capital Partners prior to the spinoff of Charlesbank’s real estate activities. Charlesbank is the successor firm to Harvard Private Capital Group, which managed the direct private equity and real estate portfolios for the Harvard University endowment fund.
Echo Bridge Partners seeks fundamentally sound real estate assets where value can be created at the asset level through operating skill, not financial engineering or market momentum. The firm focuses exclusively on opportunistic and value-added real estate investments requiring equity commitments between approximately $1 and $5 million.
We invest in five property types: residential, hospitality, office, retail and industrial. Our value-added strategy is implemented by targeting one or more of the following:
